Customer Service Position – Hobart Tasmania

We are looking for a friendly person who loves helping people and who has an interest in camping. The position is casual with the number of hour varying from week to week. You will need to work at least one morning a week in our Acton Park office in Hobart, the remainder of the work can be completed from your own home (computer provided). You will need to be available to work on all week days, and also some time on weekends (usually brief).

Duties will include:
  • Answering phone calls
  • Proving product information to potential customers
  • Answering emails
  • Taking sales over the phone or by email
  • Booking freight using our online booking system
  • Entering customer details into online system
  • Entering sales details into spreadsheets
  • Posting to our Facebook page & interacting with customers

We are looking for someone with the following qualities & experience:
  • Honest, trustworthy & reliable
  • Friendly phone manner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Likes helping people and solving their problems
  • Experience with MS Outlook, Word & Excel
  • Interested in the outdoors & camping
  • Accounting skills would be an advantage
